The Yellow Room

The Yellow Room is a lovely room, hidden away at the top of a delightful narrow hidden staircase (not too narrow to get your suitcases up!). The doorway reveals a room full of huge elm beams, and tall ceiling and your own beamed en suite bathroom. With a double aspect the room overlooks our lovely front garden and, on the other side, our very pretty village of North Moreton – in winter when the leaves are gone, you can see our 11th Century Church closeby (there is a story that once a tunnel led from Stapleton’s Chantry to the 12th Century Chantry Chapel in the Church – from where we get the Chantry part of our name)

With a six foot Staples double bed, comfortable armchairs, a table, plus all the facilities you would expect and hope to find – tea and coffee making, hairdryer, Fibre Optic WiFi Broadband Internet, thick towels, The White Company bathrobes, TV with digital TV channels, digital radio alarm clock, you will be extremely comfortable as well as quiet and peaceful up here at the top of the house.

Many guests come back here just because they love this room, and its comfortable bed, so very much – lying in bed you will look up to the beamed and vaulted ceiling. As with all of our bathrooms, there is a top of the range Hans Grohe Power Shower – once you have experienced this you won’t want to use any other.

This room is also decorated in traditional ragged limewash, with very pretty chintz blinds, and Malabar fabrics.
