Driving into Oxford City Centre is not encouraged by the City Council, but we have an excellent Park and Ride Service to make travelling into and enjoying the City of Oxford and the University so much easier – visit www.parkandride.net

  • The ancient walled Saxon town Wallingford on Thames, is just three miles away and recent archaeological excavations at Wittenham Clumps have provided a wealth of detail about Roman and Saxon occupation locally
  • The Earth Trust and Project Timescape, both in Little Wittenham, provide detailed and excellent information at their visitor and education centre and also on the Nature Reserve itself and also have Fisons Barn for parties – see our Links page
