Directions from Stapleton's Chantry to: Oxford City Centre

Easy Route:

  • Leave Stapleton’s Chantry Main Entrance.

  • Go straight ahead, exit village.

  • Turn left at cross roads joining A4130.

  • Stay on A4130 around Didcot bypass, and towards A34.

  • At roundabout junction with A34 follow signs North to Oxford on A34.

  • Exit onto Ring Road toward City Centre.

  • Please ask for more detailed help with directions to where you want to go.

    Oxford has five Park and Ride locations around the outskirts of the city.
    The train service from Didcot to Oxford City Centre takes 10 minutes.

  • Scenic Route:

  • Leave Stapleton’s Chantry Main Entrance.

  • Go straight ahead, exit village.

  • Go straight ahead at cross-roads. ¾ mile.

  • Turn left at T junction. ¼ mile right at T junction.

  • Continue through Long Wittenham village, over river and into Clifton Hampden village.

  • At traffic lights turn right onto A415 then immediately left at next lights (20 yards).

  • Continue for approx 1 mile to Golden Balls Roundabout.

  • Take first exit towards Oxford.

  • Continue through Nuneham Courtenay village.

  • After approx 1.5 miles you reach the Heyford Hill roundabout.
    Then take first exit onto Ring Road.

  • At next roundabout take second exit towards Park and Ride and City Centre.

    you need to be.

    To Return to Stapletons Chantry later:

    After your visit or meeting you can return back to the Bed & Breakfast the same way, or take a bit more time to visit the local area.
